The U.S. teams continue to dominate the standings after several events at the Mireval Proving Grounds in France! "Our team's performance in the Miraval Masters really surprised me because neither of us felt like we had good runs and we were 3rd overall." — Dave, Team USA III
The Mireval Proving Grounds is in the south of France. Yesterday's events there included a drag race, which was not as heavily weighted as track events. Our teams finished in the middle of the pack (7th, 8th and 9th), scoring enough points to keep them in the top tier of the overall point standings.
The second event at Mireval was a lap on the racing circuit, with speed (lap time) as the goal. Each member of the two-driver teams was given the opportunity to take one fast lap, with both times contributing to the team score. "I love driving the 350Z, becuase it really hugs the road!" — Egon, Szenttamasy, Team USA III. After their sprint to the finish, Team USA I retained the lead in the overall point standings, with Team USA III and Team USA II still close behind!
