When he was only 4 years old, Ritchie Ortiz's Dad bought him his very own Kawasaki dirt bike. And let's just say, Ritchie has been fascinated by motorsports ever since. Some of Ritchie's most memorable driving experiences involve traveling eleven hours to the USGP and six hours to the Canadian Grand Prix. But the one event that takes the cake is when he won an NHRA "Wally" Trophy. Ritchie describes it as "the best feeling in the world." Ritchie reconstructed his first car at age 17. Since then, he's made just about every mod you can to a car. His favorite tool in his garage is his torque wrench. Ritchie loves perfecting cars and says that the torque wrench is his "best friend" in the garage. If you manage to get a glimpse of Ritchie's fender as he passes you by on the highway, you'll notice a bumper sticker that reads, "MUGEN." In Japanese, it means "unlimited power." Ritchie hopes he can capture some of that, and help take his team to victory.
