Sam Smith grew up around a British sportscar race and restoration shop that his dad ran. So it's a no-brainer where his enthusiasm for cars comes from. These days, Sam is building a complete SCCA-improved touring racecar — from the ground up. When it comes to driving, Sam isn't picky. He'll take on fast-paced highways, scenic routes with sweepers, rugged roads . you name it. One of his favorite experiences so far has been a 10-hour endurance race. When asked to describe his driving style in seven words or less, Sam said, "smooth, refined, relaxed, manic, hyper, amateur silliness." Can't say that anyone else can quite compare to that!
