The results are in – see who made the final cut in Germany!
The Germany Off-Road Camp Qualifier for the Dunlop Drivers Cup put the US competitors through some of their most difficult challenges yet. Here are descriptions of the events they competed in.
Off-Road
Drivers had to steer Nissan Pathfinders and Patrols through a winding off-road trail, punctuated by narrow gates. Touching a gate meant losing points. At the end of the course was a post to which drivers had to come as close as possible without contact, or else lose more points.

Enduro
This was a high-speed motocross event that took riders over hills, around trees and through the mud.

Supertrail
Another event for the SUVs, this challenge featured a series of gates – but no course. Drivers had to choose their own way through a group of five gates scattered throughout a treacherous, tree-studded quagmire. Final times had to fall between 4 and 5 minutes, no gate poles could be touched, and vehicle damage penalties were assessed for cracks and dents.

Quad
Drivers took Kawasaki 350 four-wheelers on a winding course though the mud pit and around the trees.

Labyrinth
Riding in Jeeps, drivers were faced with a series of gates stretched across the mud pit. They had to pass through the gates in a particular order, but the sequence was unknown to the driver. When a spotter told a driver they had passed through the wrong gate, they had to go back to the beginning. Through the process of elimination, and hopefully with a little luck, drivers determined their correct path in the shortest possible time.

Final scores were taken from drivers’ finishes in four of the five events. Competitors could use either their Enduro or Quad score, but not both.
