Motorcycle Race Results — Valencia Grand Prix
The 2005 MotoGP season came to a close in
Valencia, Spain, last weekend with World Championship titles for Dunlop riders Dani Pedrosa (left top)
in the 250cc class and Tom Luthi (left bottom) in the 125cc class.

Dunlop Highlights: Before a record crowd of 124,500 spectators, the 2005 MotoGP season came to an
end last Sunday.
The 125cc class championship was still up in the air at the start of the race, but Tom Luthi's
ninth place finish was enough to secure the title, bringing home Switzerland's first World
Championship since 1985. Mika Kallio, who finished first in the race, ended the season in second
place overall.
In the 250cc World Championship race, Dani Pedrosa, who had already clinched the title, won with
record-setting laptimes.
In the MotoGP class, Roby Rolfo finished the season in 18th position after crashing in the first
corner of the race.
