ADAC Winter Tire Test: Dunlop Success In Two German Publications
Hanau, September 2007 – ADAC test assesses Dunlop tires as “Particularly Recommendable”.In the latest edition of the German Automobile Club’s magazine, ADAC Motorwelt, the ADAC has published the results of its winter tire tests and the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D in size 205/55 R16 H was awarded the top grade.
The Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D, was assessed by the ADAC Motorwelt editors as “extremely well-balanced”, receiving the grade “Particularly Recommendable”. Furthermore, the testers praised the tire as having “exceptionally good attributes on ice and snow” as well as “comparatively low fuel consumption and wear.”
Auto Zeitung also awards top grades.
Recently, the testers of German car magazine Auto Zeitung also tested the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D and came to the conclusion of “Particularly Recommendable” for their test in freezing cold. The editors of the renowned Cologne based magazine chose size 195/65 R15 T as a good representation because it is a very popular size. The testers were notably impressed by the handling on snow. In this area, the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D proved to be the best in its class, with exceptionally good results in traction and deceleration.
