The brand-new Miller Motorsports Park cost $85 million to build, and it shows. The CMT network is prepping the car with a bunch of cameras so we will have a lot of great footage. In addition, viewers will see that Miller is huge, 4.5 miles. As I discovered, it’s easy to get lost on the track if you have never been there. The speeds on this track register big numbers, and the scenery is awesome. It’s a pleasure to be here.
But some other teams found Miller to be inhospitable. One team blew up its engine and showed up with a Hertz rental SUV with a fake deer strapped to the hood with arrows stuck in it. Since Miller is such a large facility, your cooling system must be perfect. The track claimed three cars: a Bullitt Mustang, Corvette Z06 and Impreza WRX STI.
It just goes to show that you can be fast, but to finish first, you must first finish. The Benz would have none of these problems, and it’s time to drive to Pueblo.
